Champion is a proud partner of HoMie, a social enterprise based in Melbourne, Australia that uses 100% of its profits to provide clothing, training and job opportunities to young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

• 28,000 young people in Australia (aged 12-24) experience homelessness.
• 38% of the entire homelessness population (116,000+) are young people aged 25 and under.

PATHWAY ALLIANCE PROGRAM
One of the many hands-on ways HoMie supports young people affected by hardship is by kickstarting their working life through its retail internship - the HoMie Pathway Alliance Program.
As proud supporters of the program, we were connected with a young man facing hardship named Tony. He initially joined us as an intern at our Champion Essendon store and he has since graduated from the program to land a permanent position on the team.

Through partnering with the HoMie crew, we've been able to help draw attention to the issue of youth homelessness and through an ongoing partnership with the HoMie Pathway Alliance Program.
But to help HoMie achieve their goal to end youth homelessness, more work needs to be done and we're so here for it. Watch this space, we're just getting started.
